With years of ATF and vehicle depollution experience, AutoDrain are committed to passing on this experience through providing expert training.

We offer full depollution and fuel recovery training  at our site in Leeds or we can offer depollution training by coming to visit you, where our experienced staff will take you through the depollution process.

AutoDrain also offer specialised individual practical product training which can be done either at our licensed ATF site or on your own premises.

We run all our training in small, friendly classes where you are guaranteed individual attention. We are proud of the quality of our training as we know how important training is in maximising your time and your profits.

F Gas Training

To ensure that you are fully compliant with legislation, AutoDrain provide certified F Gas Training at our IMI accredited training centre. Since 4th July 2010, it is a legal requirement for anyone dealing with refrigerant gas in vehicles to hold the F Gas qualification. If you are found to be operating without a qualification, you could face a fine.

AutoDrain have been running fully accredited F Gas training for many years. Classes are small and friendly, allowing you to receive individual attention to ensure full understanding of the material. The course combines refresher training, a theory based test and a practical assessment to cover all areas of your knowledge. Our pass rate is extremely high and we pride ourselves on the high standard of our F Gas training.

Practical Product Training

AutoDrain offer Practical Product Training on all the equipment listed on the website and in the catalogue. If you’ve just had your brand new equipment delivered and want to know how to make the most of it, or if you’ve taken on new staff who need some training, then this is the ideal solution.

You can either have the training at AutoDrain’s own ATF site in Leeds or have one of our expert technical staff come to your site. Our staff will then take you through how to use the equipment, best practice for prolonging the life of the equipment, and essential safety aspects. Practical Product Training can take place at any time convenient to you.

CIWM/WAMITAB Operator Competence Scheme

The Environmental Permitting Regulations require End of Life Vehicle facilities to prove they have technically competent management. Before a permit can be issued or a site operated you will need to prove that you are competent to operate a site. This is done by completing a CIWM/WAMITAB Operator Competence certificate in End of Life Vehicle Facilities.

All standard rules permits for End of Life Vehicle facilities require a management system.

So where do you start? BS8555 and ISO14001 are certainly both options but for the small or medium sized site, are likely to be costly and lead to unnecessary paperwork.

Instead,  a simple management system that meets Environment Agency regulations and that is written specifically around your site will allow you to comply with your permit and help make your site easier to run.
